Aluminum Applications for Building & Construction

For a host of applications in building and Construction, Aluminum Profile System is now developed. It is the material of preference for curtain walling, glazed structures and other window frames. It is extensively used for suspended ceilings, heating and ventilation equipment, exterior cladding ,  doors, and roofing, wall panels and partitions, rolling blinds, solar shading devices and complete prefabricated buildings. It can be easily shaped by any of the main industrial metalworking processes. Beside its consumption in building materials, it is used in helicopter decks, balustrades, scaffolding and ladders.  It is weather-proof and corrosion-resistant as Aluminum building products are made from alloys.

As far as the Durability is concerned it has a very long serviceable lifetime. Its light weight makes it cheaper and easier to transport and handle on site and insulated aluminum siding is four times more effective than wood siding. It works fine for all the aluminum window profiles section. Aluminum is a fine conductor of heat, which may be a drawback in some applications. Thermal breaks and the use of Profile designs can overcome this issue. Aluminum is a non flammable construction material as it does not burn and Aluminum alloys will, however, melt at around 650°C. It allows heat and smoke to escape and thereby minimizing damage that is the main reason why Industrial roofs and exterior walls are made of thin aluminum cladding panels. To any visual consequence, using any number of surface touches, Aluminum can be decorated in any shade or color. It has a main cost advantage over the lifetime of a product as it does not require too much of maintenance. Aluminum shading devices can be used to diminish the need for air conditioning in summer. This makes aluminum exceptionally resourceful material for light management. Aluminum has more and more turn into the material of choice as the world looks towards a more sustainable prospect.
