Aluminum Products in E-commerce Industry

Working in an e-commerce construction industry is itself a day to day learning experience. An industry business consultant explores and learns something new every day be it trends, dynamics, trade policies, projects, dealing with various people around the world, situations, etc. Working with Aluminum Profile System manufacturers and in order to generate sales, we speak with several buying prospects related to the industry. While I was on a telephonic conversation with one of the business lead from Tunisia having huge demand of Aluminum window profiles up to 500mt each month for a big constructional project. When I contacted the responsible person who was curious to know the origin of our products after listening that they are from China, he showed his disappointment over the new government anti dumping policy imposed on finished aluminum products. Although he was impressed with our manufacturing product line and was willing to work with a state owned manufacturer but this policy restricted them in importing goods from china. Although it was a potential business lead but eventually was not the right target market.

Therefore, I learned two things from this phone call that first it was not the right target market and a piece of information about north and south regions of Africa.
